Service Description

Our Joshua’s Law Driver’s Education Package is a comprehensive training program designed for teen drivers (ages 15–17) to meet Georgia’s licensing requirements while developing safe, confident driving skills. This package includes 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training with a DDS-certified instructor. The classroom portion covers essential topics such as Georgia traffic laws, defensive driving techniques, hazard awareness, and responsible decision-making behind the wheel. Following the classroom instruction, students will complete six hours of hands-on driving experience. During these sessions, students will practice real-world driving skills including residential driving, city traffic navigation, lane control, turning techniques, parking, and highway driving, ensuring they are fully prepared for everyday driving situations. Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a Certificate of Completion required for Joshua’s Law compliance and submission to the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS).

Cancellation Policy

Driving Under Intelligence DUI & Defensive Driving refund policy is subject to the terms and conditions under its license agreement with the Georgia Department of Driver Services and is specified in the written contract that all students must execute before any student may attend class. Payment in advance thru this website does not constitute an official contract between Driving Under Intelligence DUI & Defensive Driving School and the student. The student is simply making payment in advance prior to signing the contract required by the Georgia Department of Driver Services. The student may request a refund anytime before signing the contract. If you have already started a class with us, you cannot get a refund for that class. If you must take a risk reduction course and have taken your NEEDS assessment with us, paid in full, but wish to transfer to another school, as per DDS regulations, we are ONLY required to issue refunds if you are transferring to another school due to a course cancellation, program closure, or documented emergency, or because you have moved over 30 miles away from the location in which you have registered. We will refund you the course fee $260, and transfer your NEEDS assessment. If WE cancel a DUI class or defensive driving, you are entitled to a refund if you would like to attend class at another school. If you have paid for a DUI class or defensive driving class and don’t show up on the scheduled date, REFUNDS WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
